The Cablecast Knowledge Base is a website to offer support to customers and provide helpful articles about a variety of topics related to the company’s software and products.
This site was built from the ground up by the Cablecast engineering team, as we found that our third party site didn’t quite fulfill all the needs of both the staff who run the site and the customers who use it. I needed to design something clean and easy to use, while offering users a variety of ways to find the information they are looking for. The search bar is prominent at the top, allowing users to search for specific topics, which the left navigation offers broad categories to get users started who may not know specifically what to search for. We provided helpful quicklinks to get a user to some of our most used options quickly, as well as our most viewed articles to help answer some of our most common questions.
I designed this site in figma, which allowed me to quickly set up wireframes and make interactive prototypes.
